About the Empowering Women Department
One woman can change many things. Many women can change everything. Empowering women to reach their full potential by removing barriers that have historically hindered a woman's self-esteem. Education is the key to improving gender equality and the advancement of women in a number of areas such as health, employment, housing and credit to name a few. This is necessary domestically and internationally. Small efforts may seem futile, but as a group and an organization such as the GFWC working collectively the results have always been synergistic.
Projects include:
- Collect clothes for DRESS FOR SUCCESS
- Offer Etiquette Lessons to Juniorettes, at end of year have a formal party for the girls.
